Throughout the existence of Faith in Action, there have been many Latina women who have led very powerfully. We understand that the knowledge to lead powerfully is in us as our ancestors. Unfortunately, there were structures in place that held us behind, intentionally hindered our efforts and/or just failed us. We did not address cultural and historical differences, did not account for trauma and did not develop Latina staff and position them for leadership.

What is it?

• The program will strive to answer key questions all Latina leaders should be asking themselves if they’re trying to build power. What is my power potential? What kind of power do I want to have? 
• The program will challenge the way Latina staff see themselves when it comes to being leaders in the movement, in their communities, and especially in their organizations. 
• The program will  create a space where participants feel the safety to grow and challenge each other as they go through this process together.
